COMMUNICATION PREFERENCES

Practice Communication

Spruce is the main communication platform that current patients should use to communicate with the practice. On enrollment, all patients are set up with a Spruce account, which can be accessed via app on their smartphone or by the web app

Spruce is a more secure form of communication than e-mail and provides all the same functionality, so we encourage use of Spruce over e-mail.

Patients who do not have smartphones or who prefer not to download the app may e-mail us at team@pdfm.sprucecare.com or call/text the practice at 508-318-6941.

Provider Communication (DPC Patients Only)

For Direct Primary Care patients who are having an acute or urgent medical issue outside of normal business hours, please call or text your provider’s direct line, which is given to all DPC patients on enrollment.

For non-urgent communication with your provider, you can also use the Spruce App by addressing your message to your provider and it will automatically be routed to them.

The patient portal is a great tool for accessing your lab results and documents; however, we do not encourage using it for practice/provider communication.

For DPC patients who do not have smartphones, you can message your provider by e-mailing the practice as above. Just address your message to your provider and it will be routed to them.
